This is a 21s century training and resource manual written specifically for professional pest management technicians. It will provide the best training available in the industry, and then it will be a resource for a career in pest management. My mission was to provide information you need to know without having more than you need to know. You can start reading anywhere with any chapter.

There are 12 chapters of information on pests and applications for professional pest management. The text part of each chapter is short, with many figures, and designed to be interesting and easy to read. Some people ‘absorb` information by reading and looking at related figures. The information in this part of the chapter can be read easily because topics are presented on one page, and the page will have several illustrations.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

William H Robinson, Ph.D. is an urban entomologist. He was Professor and Director of the Urban Entomology Research Center at Virginia Tech University for 30 years. Along with graduate and post-doctorate students he conducted research on household and structural pests, and the application of insecticides. He created the Urban Entomology Research Center on the campus of Zhejiang Agricultural University and was a Visiting Professor at ZAU for 15 years.

He was the Technical Director of B&G Equipment Company for 20 years and worked on pest control equipment and application technology. He currently provides technical information and training for Hohto Shoji in Japan and Chung Hsi in Taiwan. He is Technical and Research Director with Bentz Jaz, Singapore. He has written two text books: Urban Entomology, Urban Insects and Arachnids. He has written five service technician Training Manuals, including two in Chinese with Chung Hsi in Taiwan. He provided the original concept and the organization for the National Urban Entomology Conference (U.S.) and the International Conference on Urban Pests.
